Last month, the Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication was proud to host a visit from the Victorian Parliamentary Secretary for Education, Inga Peulich. As part of the ongoing partnership between MCN and Dromana Secondary College, Ms. Peulich joined Australian National Fabrication Facility CEO Rosie Hicks, MCN's Managing Director Dr. Dwayne Kirk and Scientific Director Dr. Gareth Moorhead in welcoming a group of Dromana students for a tour around the facility and a unique look at the cutting edge research being undertaken at the centre.

Following an info session for the students on the possibilities provided by a career in nanotechnology and a few words from Ms. Peulich, she and the visiting Dromana students were treated to a tour of the facility. The students were also able to enter the Class 100 and Class 10,000 cleanrooms, giving them a chance to experience an advanced laboratory environment. MCN was very happy to host Ms. Peulich, and we look forward to our continuing partnership with Dromana College and its students.
