Training
Training certificates for the following modules held in March 2012 are now available at reception:
- Dangerous goods and hazardous substance
- Hydrofluric acid training
- Compressed gas safety training
If you are unable to collect your certificate please contact Paul Spizzirri (paul.spizzirri@monash.edu).
The following meetings will be held in the MCN Boardroom:
Monday (Every Week), 10am - 12pm
Site Safety Induction
- Compulsary for all users of the MCN facility
Tuesday (Every Week), 1pm - 1:30pm
MCN Operations & Safety Meeting
- Compulsary for all MCN Staff, MCN Technology Fellows & Users welcome
The following modules will be offered at the MCN in the coming weeks. It will soon become a requirement for all staff/users to demonstrate training compliance (either through training at the MCN or through their host organisation) to access the high risk areas of the MCN.
The modules being offered are:
First and Third Monday of every month, 1pm - 2pm
MCN Dangerous Goods Waste Management
- Required for those wishing to use dangerous goods within the MCN facility

For all other training events there is no need to book unless you are planning on bringing a large group. We are only planning on offering these courses up to twice a year - so come along and avoid the rush!
