The U.S. National Cancer Institute, in collaboration with Virginia Tech and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, is planning a workshop this coming June 2017 to bring together U.S. and Australian scientists working in the cancer research field to discuss emerging cancer biomedical technologies. The purpose of the workshop is to explore opportunities to develop new basic to translational research collaborations between U.S. and Australian participants, as well as future strategies for cancer research internationally.
