On Friday, October 21st, MCN will be hosting a free 3D graphics workshop to introduce attendees to Blender, an open source 3D creation suite. It is aimed at people who have not used Blender before or haven’t done any non-CAD 3D modelling. This hands-on workshop will begin with the basics of interface navigation and simple modelling. Tutorials will cover rendering, materials & lighting and some particle effects. Please bring along your own laptop and power adaptor as well as a 3-button mouse (left-click, right-click, scroll wheel). Lunch is BYO but morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
Space will be limited to 20 attendees. Please RSVP to Soon Hock Ng (soonhock.ng@monash.edu). See workshop schedule below.
