Professor M.S. Thakur has made a significant contribution to the field of biotechnology through his biosensor research conducted in India over the past 35 years. He has published more than 200 research papers along with 15 patents and transferred several technologies to industry. He is now visiting professor at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
